This app is great for studying japanese, with real flash cards (not just random words) and very complete.

This is by far the best Japanese app in the AppStore, it can give you a lot of references to pass by your problems trough out your learning, the only problem is the JLPT kanji section, it is really outdated, if the developers could pay a little attention to this part it would be perfect. JLPT covers 1945 entries and the section for this in the app does not even covers the half, I would be very thankful, and I think the others who bought this app too, but in the end its a very good app! Thanks a lot!!!

This is not just the best japanese dictionary I have ever found, but the best dictionary-app I know. It would save people a lot of time if every software developer just followed this guidelines. Congratulations!

A really complete and thorough option. Verbs, adjectives and adverbs are extended with conjugations and every kanji is shown with examples and common compounds.

Suddenly the language changed from English to Japanese and I have no idea how to change it back, if thats even possible!!! Other than that, the app is great, easy to use and useful! Could use some usability engineering, thats all.

I have acquired various apps and this has to be one of the best. I just wish it picked up where I left off. It restarts whenever you switch apps. Nest japanese dictioanrie for 16€

I tested most of the available dictionaries and this is clearly the fastest and most powerful of them all. It would be perfect if I could use the whole screen for handwriting input instead of the rather small Chinese input pad. keep the excellent work up! thanks

Forget the other apps, this does it all. Am honestly seriously impressed in particular in comparison with what else is available for iphones. Train kanji, hiragana or katakana and get a great dictionary as well.

Ive have been using it for preparing my Japanese classes because its really easy to make vocabulary lists. The interface is excellent and the example sentences are great. If you have this app, you dont need any other for learning Japanese!!!!

This is a really great app! Ive used it for studying every single day since I bought it. But Im still waiting for the announced iPad version and support could be more responsive. Thats why I can only give 3 stars.

... Which i am using on my iPhone with lots of vocabulary lists. I have a new ipad now and I am really hoping for an iPad version. Is there a way to sync vocabulary lists from the iPhone to the iPad ?

Sadly...the the learning mode doesnt let you enter an answer which is unfortunate in a language which is 50% memorize a freaking complicated writing system

Ive been using his app for about a year now. I downloaded it because I wanted a non Internet relying Japanese dictionary but what I got with this app is soooo much more. Besides fast and great word search functions it lets you creat folders and sub folders for your own vocabulary lists. Those list can be used as study cards witch is really great for studying. Another great feature are the example sentences, common compounds, jlpt study features and conjugations. The app runs stable, never crashes and is worth every penny. There is one downside though, the long promised but still missing iPad update. Im hoping theyll keep their promise and release it soon.

I loved this app before, but wirh the latest 3.0 update it became even better! Incredible work and great value for the money. アップを作ってにありがとう！

It was good before, but now its even better. Discovery is an especially nice new feature. New handwriting recognition catches stuff that the built in Chinese mode doesnt get. If you are learning Japanese at any level you should have this app. Update Dec 2012 frequent crashes on my iPhone 5 :-(

I am using it now for a couple of months and i have to say that this app os very usefull for finding kanjis by drawing them. Has also a huge database for Example sentences. If they would add more languages (i.e. german) I would be even more happy.

The space for writing the Kanji has become too smal. It was much better in the old version.
