Wonderful application for learners. Excellent dictionary. Love quiz feature, where you can create list of words or kanji and then test yourself everyday.

I cannot stress enough how many benefits this app brought me. I constantly use it during any kind of Japanese learning activities. The built-in SRS basically taught me kanji. The entries are so diverse and comprehensive and include so much phraseology I never stop making new discoveries, both in Japanese and English. Huge thanks to everyone who took part in developing this project. Just one small suggestion: it would be amazing if the JLPT kanji list was updated to the new post-2010 requirements.

Best app of this type ive come across. Combines a dictionary with flash cards. Its great that you can look up words and then add them to your own list for later review. Highly recommended.

Ive been studying japanese for a year now, and this app helped me improve a LOT. One flaw i found is that, in my opinion, words and terms should have some kind of context. I mean, if a wors is no longer used, if its a colloquial form or a formal one. Still the best app i got from the store.

Incredibly flexible, good looking, highly customizable, really complete and smartly assembled app. its a real bang for the bucks. It could be better though: compounds search is discouragingly complicated. Some minor flaws here and there, but overall GREAT value.

This is absolutely the best Japanese app on the App Store. The only thing I would like to see implemented is the possibility of manually changing the English translation of the words (English is not my first language and I would like to be able to add the translation in my mother tongue of the words that I study).

This used to be a great app (maybe the best among its competitors), but now with iOS 8 it keeps crashing. Flashcards arent working anymore. Please fix it.

This app became a real waste of money ! till few months ago it was the best app on the market, but since iOS 8.1 (another $#!t) everyone use this app is just experiencing the most stressing time. Essentially the app crash anytime the phone goes in stanby (being it voluntary or accidental) … I loved the app but for now is a real FRAUD ! I would be glad to change my evaluation if this problem will be solved !

They dont update the app!!! Very sad.... could be one of the best app about Japanese...

I like the handwriting feature a lot especially on iPhone where the Japanese keyboard input is not very great. The layout is neat. The translation is accurate and comprehensive and the example sentences are very helpful. This app is too good to be free.

This app is so great. You should definitely try it. The search is very useful and there are classifications for the kanji by topics, frequency, school learning order and also JLPT. You can turn the romaji on or off. It is very helpful.

This app is priceless. It has eliminated so much extra work when looking up kanji. The handwriting recognition works well most of the time and the dictionary entries are thorough.
